I recently finished a commission of two sketches of ladies wearing 18th century clothing and wigs.

As these are sketches I didn't ink them at all and just used watercolours to add some colour and then a quick overlay in PS, that being said I am pretty happy with how they turned out! :)

This is the companion piece to the Emerald sketch, which I referred to as 'Amethyst' to be inkeeping with teh precious stones theme.

She looks gorgeous!!! I love the whole, pink theme you worked with! All the detail on her hair is so amazing as well as the little hair piece c:
OK I just love her little grin, looks like something is on her mind, but what? 0:

If I had the money, and obviously didn't have to get up and actually go to work in the morning, I would totally employ someone to style my hair every morning!

This is great. I love the personality that is radiating from the painting. Smug snark much? The color blend is impressive. I thought that it was wholly digital, given how even everything was. The warmth of this is incredibly wonderful. The way this picture tapers down from warm yellow to the deeper rose in her skirt is just lovely. I have to ask, though, is she playing air violin? :) Anyway, this is totally amazing.
