I got this finished while on holiday, the coloured version of my Wuthering Heights commission for Megan.

She asked for: "Hareton and Catherine, sometime after the book. Also I'm a big fan of Regency era clothing - lace gloves and cravats!! And the colour blue."

I hope it satisfies. I'm ashamed to say I had to go back and re-read the end of WH because I had apparently forgotten how hot Hareton is. XD

I used a couple of textures I scanned in myself, mainly of different papers etc, and I used a couple of ~ZeBiii's patterns for the clothes.

This is my favorite couple from Wuthering Heights. I just finished reading it yesterday, and I really love how Catherine finally stopped being stuck-up towards Hareton and they really bonded as equals.

Yeah I like Catherine/Hareton a LOT more than Cathy/Heathcliff. I think it's the main reason I don't particularly like WH all that much, I just don't find the main romantic couple that romantic. I am waiting for a Catherine/Haretin spin-off though lol.

Pfft yeah exactly. It seemed like Catherine and Linton just caused each other more distress than anything else. And yeah, when I first read Wuthering Heights I was expecting something a lot different I guess. I didn't really see much passion between the couples (maybe that's just the writing style...making things subtle and stuff). Like the original Cathy and Heathcliff, it would have been cool if they went into one of their perspectives for part of the time so we can see what really happened when they ran off with each other.
With Hareton and Catherine, I guess I just felt an actual bond rather than some passion with no substance. They really seemed to compliment each other well. Too bad it had to be right near the end of the book. :X

In the process of researching these costumes I had to look at a lot of regency costume plates, they're kind of addictive! :)

Ah, my favourite couple from WH. At least they are not sociopaths.
They look kinda strange for me, but it's because in my head I have the image of them as they were in the books. I imagine they would become like that after some happy years of marriage.
Lovely details - Cathy's hair, gloves and dress are top notch!

Um, where is blue? XD I see only violet.
